Michael Q Richardson, D.M.D.
Dr. Richardson graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Prior to becoming a dentist, he was a physical therapist, and his love of providing health care to patients has continued into his dental career. Dr. Richardson obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from Duke University, and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami.
After spending several years practicing dentistry out west in Arizona, Dr. Richardson moved back east to be closer to family and friends. He loves motorcycling and spends much of his free time exploring the beautiful landscape and backroads all over Georgia. He also enjoys watching motorcycle and automobile racing, and is a big college football fan.
Alex Mehraban, DMD
Dr. Mehraban has received his dental degree at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine in 1993. Upon completion of his dental degree he sought more advanced training in general dentistry as a GPR (General Practice Residency) at Genesee Hospital, the School of Medicine and Dentistry at University of Rochester, NY.
Due to his interest in comprehensive dentistry and field of surgery, he then went on to specialize in the field of implantology and periodontics at Eastman Dental Center, School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Rochester, one of the pioneers centers in clinical research.
His commitment to continuing education has led Dr. Mehraban to participate in advanced courses in his field to bring the latest, most advanced techniques and technology to his patients. He is the founder and director of Johns Creek Seminars, a study club that provides a variety of seminars in advances in the field of dentistry to local dentists and their teams. Dr. Mehraban also lectures to local dental societies on cosmetic gum procedures and dental implants.
Born and reared in the Atlanta area, Rebecca joined Sugar Hill Dentistry in 2003 after graduating from Lanier Technical College in the dental hygiene program. She is also a graduate of Gainesville College with an Associate of Applied Science degree. Rebecca completed the National Board as well as the Southeast Regional Board and is licensed by the state of Georgia. Rebecca enjoys interacting with her patients and strives to make each experience at Sugar Hill Dentistry a pleasant one.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two children, family and friends. She enjoys music, shopping, camping and traveling.
Hope was born in Virginia and reared in Athens, GA where she completed her degrees in dental assisting and dental hygiene at Athens Technical College. She has worked for Sugar Hill Dentistry since graduating from hygiene school. Hope very much enjoys being a hygienist where she has learned and grown considerably in the six years she has worked for us. She strives to give each patient a thorough cleaning and her undivided attention.
In her free time, Hope enjoys spending time with her husband Will, friends and family as well as baking and attending church.
Brandy - Dental Assistant
Brandy was born and raised in Georgia. She has been an expanded functions dental assistant for six years. Brandy enjoys all aspects of dentistry and assisting each dentist here at Sugar Hill Dentistry. In her spare time, Brandy enjoys spending time with her two daughters, family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, and attending various events which include: comedy, music and sports.

Renee - Office Manager
Renee, is our Office Manager and has worked for Sugar Hill Dentistry since 2005. She has over twenty-eight years of experience in dentistry. She attended Nichols Career Dental Assistant program in Jefferson City, MO and was a dental assistant for nineteen years before moving to Georgia in 2003.
She and her husband, Wes reside in Buford where she enjoys spending time traveling to the mountains and beaches along with reading, sewing and cheering on the IOWA Hawkeye football team.
Donna - Patient Coordinator
Donna has been with Sugar Hill Dentistry since 2002. She works at the front desk handling patients checking in and out, she answers all insurance questions, and serves as a liaison between the front office and treatment area. She has a heart for people and says, "the patients are the very BEST part of my job."
When she is not at work, she loves to travel and spend time with her three grandchildren.
Kathy began her career in dentistry more than 30 years ago. She is dedicated to assisting patients with reaching and maintaining optimal oral health; aiding with scheduling convenient appointments and maximizing insurance benefits.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and cheering on the TennVols!
